About us

We build the systems that let teaching scale without flattening it

ClassRoots Edu is an education technology company. We work on adaptive tutoring, language acquisition, curriculum intelligence and the institutional software that carries them.

Why we exist

Every learner who falls behind falls behind for a specific reason — a prerequisite they never solidified, a sound they cannot hear the difference in, a concept that was explained once in a way that did not land for them. Those reasons are knowable. What has been missing is a system with enough attention to find them at scale.

That is the problem we work on. Not content delivery, which is largely solved, but diagnosis and response — building software that can tell the difference between a learner who is guessing and one who understands, and that changes what happens next accordingly.

What we work on

Our products span the full path from a spoken sentence to an institutional report: a conversational tutor that teaches live, speech models that score pronunciation to the phoneme, a curriculum graph that keeps AI output on syllabus, interactive simulations for concepts that resist words, and the multi-tenant platform schools run their operations on.

How we work

Small teams, real deployments, and a strong preference for measurable claims over impressive demos. Where we cannot yet evaluate something rigorously, we say so rather than shipping it into a classroom and hoping.

Areas of focus

  • Adaptive tutoring

Conversational instruction that adjusts to demonstrated understanding

  • Language acquisition

Speech assessment and guided practice for spoken English

  • Curriculum intelligence

Standards-aligned knowledge graphs that ground every AI response

  • School infrastructure

Multi-tenant platforms for enrolment, content and reporting

What we believe

Three convictions that shape the product

Attention is the scarce resource

A teacher with forty learners cannot give each of them an hour. Software can carry the repetitive part of instruction so the human hours go where they actually change an outcome.

Personalised means responsive

Personalisation is not a name field in a template. It is the system noticing that a learner missed the same prerequisite twice and doing something different about it.

Infrastructure decides whether AI lands

Most classroom AI fails on enrolment records, content pipelines and access control — not on the model. We build both halves because only the pair works.

Working on something adjacent?

We are open to research collaborations, school pilots and partnerships with organisations working on learning outcomes.
